The Cross-Country Utility in action
Movex Innovation will introduce the Track-O Lift Cross-Country Utility model at ICUEE 2009 from October 6 to 8 in Louisville, Kentucky.
As a result of the successful introduction of the Cross Country Utility model at Hydro-Quebec , Movex Innovation is introducing this model at ICUEE 2009, booth E335.
The Cross-Country is a Twin-Track 66 with an additional 6 inches of ground clearance and a modified track system to support the additional height and tackle more difficult terrains. This is not a stair climber. The Cross Country is the base for the Utility model developed for Hydro-Quebec to move their 1,600 lbs transformers into areas not accessible by truck, including climbing a mountain side. The 30 inch width was maintained so as to be able to go through backyard fence doors.
For the Utility model, Movex added a box with support for the transformer, additional batteries, an Inverter with 120V and 24V outlets, a Capstan wench (powered by the Track-O Lift), storage for a lighting system for night time operations with outlet for recharging the light, and a tool box.
